20 midwives tested the sproutling – Breathable Mattress for four weeks. The sproutling – Breathable Mattress was tested by the midwife and the pregnant women/breastfeeding mothers/parents for everyday use, usability and general handling. Further components of the product test were: breathability, firmness, 100% washability down to the core, considering that babies regularly leak diapers, spit-up and bottles, lying comfort for the baby, temperature regulation, sleeping behavior, use of the safety zipper to prevent the risk of choking and suffocation, quality, workmanship and materials used, ease of use and value for money.
